(Smithtown, NY) – Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP) is pleased to announce the election of Ann Pogue-Campbell of Hampton Bays & Forest Hills and Ann Tucker of Cold Spring Harbor, to the PPHP Board of Directors.

Ms. Pogue-Campbell and Ms. Tucker, who were elected to two-year terms expiring December 31, 2010, are first-time members of the Board.

Ann Pogue-Campbell received an A.B degree in Economics and Communications from Stanford University where she was a National Achievement Scholar and Chronicle Broadcasting Fellow. Upon completion of undergraduate work, Ms. Pogue-Campbell attended the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Masters of Business Administration and achieved the honor of Fellow, Council on Graduate Management Education. She has served as a marketing consultant for a myriad of for profit and nonprofit organizations. Serving J. Walter Thompson as an Account Supervisor, and later as a Recruitment Consultant, she created and implemented advertising strategies and well as developed recruiting and training initiatives. Ms. Pogue-Campbell has been a Trustee of the United Nations International School and an active member in its Parents Association where she served as Secretary and Vice-President for the Queens Campus, as well as serving on the Constitution Committee and Chair of the By-laws Committee.

Ann Tucker, after almost ten years in the financial services industry, recently joined the Applied Mathematics and Statistics department at SUNY Stony Brook as a Research Professor in Financial Engineering. She is also building a consulting business, Cold Spring Harbor Advisors, LLC, providing services to the hedge fund community.  Ms. Tucker was a Director in the Investments group at Ivy Asset Management, overseeing investments in quantitative and systematic strategies.  She has also held positions as Director and Head of Statistical Arbitrage trading at IXIS Capital Markets, statistical arbitrage portfolio manager at LibertyView Capital Management, and Vice President at Bear Stearns & Cos.  She has been an active member of PPHP’s Budget and Finance Committee and Investment Subcommittee, serving as volunteer investment manager for the past 5 years.  Ms. Tucker received her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from SUNY Stony Brook and her Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics from New York University.
