East End Benefit to Support Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic
For Immediate Release: June 11, 2015
Where can you bid on an exquisite art work, a vacation in the Dominican Republic, a sailing adventure, and a vintage carousel horse?
The 27th Annual East End Benefit to support Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic (PPHP).
On Sunday, May 24, hundreds of PPHP supporters will head to Sag Harbor to bid on unique silent auction items—and enjoy the Hamptons party of the year. All proceeds go to support reproductive health care services and educational programs. PPHP provides essential health care to women, men and young people regardless of their ability to pay.
The event, which runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sender Estate in Sag Harbor, will feature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. This year, Cecile Richards, President, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, will be a special guest. Bonnie Buckner, Michael Halsband, and Jill Scheuer are co-chairs of the Benefit Committee, and Dorothy Lichtenstein is chair of the Honorary Committee.
The auction will feature works by leading East End artists, tickets to the New York City Ballet or a Yankees/Red Sox meet and greet, paddleboard lessons, fine dining certificates, private shopping, massage sessions, and more.
Tickets are $300 per person; $150 for anyone under age 35 and sponsorships are available. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please visit www.pphp.org or contact Jenifer Van Deinse at (631) 240-1128 or [email protected] for information or tickets.
