February 12, 2018 (Omaha, NE) – Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is proud to sponsor the upcoming Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Ally College Conference (MBLGTACC), hosted by the University of Nebraska – Omaha, Feb. 16-18.
For the first time in MBLGTACC’s 26-year history, the conference will be held in Nebraska – creating a unique opportunity for the community to enthusiastically welcome and support students of diverse sexualities and genders from across the Midwest.
“It is Planned Parenthood’s commitment to honor and fight for the health and lives of LGBTQ communities by providing high-quality health care and education to people of all gender identities, gender expressions and sexual orientations,” said Andi Grubb, PPHeartland director of education and outreach. “We are incredibly excited for the UNO students who brought this historic conference to Omaha, and we’re proud to be a community partner in making MBGLTACC a meaningful experience for the thousands of participants.”
As a conference sponsor, PPHeartland will have community educators on-site with sexual health information and resources to empower individuals to take care of their health, including practicing safer sex and building healthy relationships.
College students, faculty and staff who would like to attend can register online at www.mblgtacc.org.
