June 13, 2012 (DES MOINES, IA) – Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is happy to announce our new state-of-the-art health center in Dubuque, Iowa, is now open for patients.

The new facility is located at 3365 Hillcrest Road in Dubuque.

Patients will continue to receive the same comprehensive health care services including cancer screenings, well woman exams, family planning, male services, STI testing and treatment, general health care, and more.

The new, facility was renovated to meet the specific needs of our patients and staff. The larger health center will feature more exam rooms, updated technologies and equipment, additional parking and a more private entrance for patients.

“Our patients deserve only the best reproductive care,” says Planned Parenthood of the Heartland President and CEO Jill June. “The new health center will provide our patients with more resources and better access to the services we provide.”

Patients will no longer be seen at Planned Parenthood’s Central Avenue location. All appointments are now being made at the new facility.


Planned Parenthood of the Heartland has served women and men of all ages in the Heartland since the 1930s. Today the agency offers a full range of quality reproductive health care services to residents in Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Oklahoma through 31 health centers and Education and Resource Centers located in Des Moines, Lincoln and Omaha.
