Planned Parenthood is one of the nation’s leading providers of high-quality, affordable healthcare for women, men, transgender, non-binary and gender nonconforming patients. It is also the nation’s largest provider of sex education. Planned Parenthood believes that all Louisianans should have access to comprehensive reproductive health care, regardless of race or ethnicity, immigration status, gender identity, sexual orientation, income, employer or zip code
In the face of persistent legislative attacks, we are ready with one clear message: we won’t back down. No politician will attack reproductive rights and services without a fight. We will shine a light on extremists and continue to build long-term political power in Louisiana. We have a clear vision of our future and we aren’t going anywhere.
Defend Against Further Attacks
Abortion is banned in Louisiana, but Louisiana lawmakers continue to file bills that would further restrict access. We also anticipate attacks on access to birth control, continued attacks on Planned Parenthood's ability to provide reproductive health care in Louisiana, and attacks on Trans kids and their families

Support Expanded Access to Reproductive Health Care
Over the last decade, Louisiana’s access to preventive and lifesaving reproductive health care has been systemically chipped away and politically attacked. In the last year, abortion has been completely banned in Louisiana. We will work with our allies in the legislature to push for proactive policies that will increase access to health care for all people Louisiana.

We stand with our movement partners, our communities and all Louisianans in their ability to live full, healthy lives – no matter what.
