All are welcome here. Planned Parenthood health centers serve patients who are insured, or uninsured, and regardless of immigration status, zip code, age, gender or who you love. Planned Parenthood is proud to care and specializes in serving teens and LGBTQ patients.

Trusted for more than 80 years.

Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas is expanding access to healthcare to reach more Texans. In 2017, we opened a brand new health center in Waco, and in early 2018, we reopened our Tyler health center in a new location. This spring, all Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas health centers expanded services to include PrEP and PEP to prevent HIV transmission, and this fall, Planned Parenthood’s midlife services will be reaching more women.  As long as Texans need expert healthcare services, we are committed to expanding healthcare access.

Reproductive healthcare access is especially important due to barriers to women’s healthcare created by the Texas Legislature and Texas Governor. Since 2011, the Texas Legislature and state politicians have systematically dismantled women’s health programs like the Medicaid Women’s Health Program and blocked Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening and other grant funding from Planned Parenthood health centers creating barriers to healthcare for low-income and uninsured women.

One of El Paso’s long-time providers of abortion services recently retired. The opening of our El Paso health center ensures continued access to medication and surgical abortion for the Paso del Norte community.

El Paso was one of the largest communities in the U.S. without a Planned Parenthood health center. Until now. We’re proud to join the vibrant and growing Paso del Norte community.
