Our History

In July 2012, Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio, Planned Parenthood of Central Ohio, and Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio merged to create Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio.  The new organization operates 13 health center locations to serve women and families in a 68-county region.  The organization also continues to provide abortion services through our two surgical centers in Columbus and Bedford Heights.

In the same restructuring, our advocacy arm, Planned Parenthood Affiliates of Ohio Action Fund, was renamed Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio.  That office will continue to speak with one voice to protect rights and access to reproductive health care.
