Sexual and Reproductive Health Care is Essential, No Matter What 

New York – Today, Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s (PPGNY) renews its commitment to provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care to everyone who walks into a PPGNY health center. While there is still uncertainty about the future of this country, patients can still count on PPGNY to do whatever it takes to care of our patients. The outcome of the election will not change the fact that PPGNY patients need and deserve quality, affordable birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing and prevention, and access to safe, legal abortion. 

The devastating consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic have further exposed racism and inequalities in our nation’s health care system. Black and Latinx communities are suffering disproportionate rates of illness and death due to this health crisis. Now more than ever, people need more access to health care, not less. Planned Parenthood of Greater New York health centers welcomes all races, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and identities. Our trusted providers deliver care with compassion to everyone regardless of their immigration status, zip code, or ability to pay. Sexual and reproductive health care is essential, no matter what.
