Stand with Black Women Today and Every Day
Throughout U.S. history, Black women have nurtured families — often not their own — organized communities, led social movements, and reimagined fields like the arts and sciences. Planned Parenthood sees the greatness of Black women during Black History Month and all year long. We know in the tireless effort to survive, thrive, and care for themselves, their families and communities, Black women seldom get the care and support they deserve. We #StandWithBlackWomen and celebrate your heritage, your achievements, your health, and your future.
Follow along with us on social media in February as we highlight Black women past and present who embody what it means to Stand With Black Women. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Cupid's Safer Sex Basket Drop Off hits St. Louis in time for Condom Week
To celebrate Valentine's Day, Planned Parenthood is partnering with local businesses to provide safer sex kits (condoms, lube, and health services information) to the St. Louis community. Condoms are the only form of birth control that also prevent STIs.
Show some love to these local businesses, and pick up a free safer sex kit while you’re there!

Need Health Insurance? New Special Enrollment Period Starts February 15
On January 28, 2021, President Biden signed an Executive Order to re-open enrollment to the Health Insurance Marketplace, allowing more Americans to sign up for 2021 health coverage. The Department of Health and Human Service (HHS) has opened a three-month Special Enrollment Period from February 15 to May 15. This Special Enrollment Period is open to anyone who needs 2021 health insurance.
You do not need to provide any documentation of a qualifying event, which is typically required for Special Enrollment Period eligibility.
If you already enrolled in marketplace coverage during Open Enrollment, you have the opportunity to change plans during this enrollment period.
Have questions or need assistance with enrolling in health coverage? Contact Brenda Cross at [email protected] to get free virtual assistance from one of Planned Parenthood’s Certified Application Counselors.
