PPGNHAIK Statement on Incorrect Indiana Data

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – In response to false information about Indiana abortion cases cited by Judge Kacsmaryk, Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky issued the following statement:

“The claims cited in Judge Kacsmaryk’s opinion are false. It should come as no surprise that Judge Kacsmaryk cited unconfirmed information in his decision without bothering to fact check. The goal of his decision was not rooted in data or medicine; it was a politically-motivated attack on abortion access. Mifepristone is safe and has been used by more than 5 million people for over two decades to help people make their own decisions about their body, life, and future. This is judicial interference at its absolute worst.”
