How SB 1309 Impacts You

This new law would ban abortions in Idaho at around six weeks – before many people even know they’re pregnant. For now, this law is NOT in effect. 
 

About SB 1309

This law, like the one in Texas, would ban nearly all abortion in Idaho and prohibits any person from helping someone seek an abortion. This would give any person related to you, the ability to bring a lawsuit and receive a financial reward, against someone suspected of helping you obtain an abortion in Idaho past the legal limit.
