Prenatal Services in Delaware

Prenatal care is the care you receive during pregnancy from a health care provider, like a doctor or nurse. Through regular checkups, we make sure you and your developing fetus are as healthy and strong as possible.  The key to having a healthy baby is to take good care of your own health. The healthier you are, the stronger your baby is likely to be.

At PPDE Prenatal Care you will:

  • learn how to manage the discomforts of pregnancy
  • have any testing you may need
  • learn what changes to expect as the fetus develops
  • ask any questions you may have

PPDE Prenatal Care also includes advice on how pregnant women can best care for themselves through:

  • eating healthy food
  • avoiding risky behaviors and habits (tobacco, alcohol and drugs)
  • taking the necessary dietary supplements
  • exercising sensibly
  • getting plenty of rest
