Notice: New York State of Health is going to stop the COVID-19 automatic continuation of Medicaid, Child Health Plus, and Essential plans on June 30, 2023. They will resume eligibility reviews and renewals for people enrolled in these programs. If a patient’s plan ends on or before May 31, 2023, they are automatically signed up until 2024. If a patient’s plan ends after May 31, 2023, patients will receive renewal notices based on enrollment term dates. Patients will need to take action to renew their insurance or they could be at risk for a gap in coverage. For more information, visit NY State of Health.
