Education:
For Parents & Caregivers

About Parent Education

At Planned Parenthood, we believe that sexual health is essential to every person's total well-being, and that parents and other trusted caregivers should be the primary sexuality educators of their children. Young people need age-appropriate access to accurate and comprehensive information in order to make responsible and safe choices. Our goal is to normalize the conversation around sex and sexuality so that parents and youth feel comfortable talking with one another about sexual health.

It's easier than ever to host a workshop!

All of our workshops are currently being offered remotely and in-person. These workshops are held for 5-20 participants, and we are offering a range of topics, including Conversations in Families, Puberty, Gender & Sexual Identity, Anatomy, and more. Workshops are 60-90 minutes and can be scheduled at a time that works for you. Please contact to schedule something or learn more.
