This is the fourth period I missed in a row. I took plenty of pregnancy tests and all but one were negative. Should I believe the positive one? Because my stomach is changing like a pregnant woman would expect it to around the 3 month mark. I’m not sure what to do because I dont want my parents to know and I dont know how to get a free or extremely cheap exam to see whats going on.

Just as there are a number of different reasons why your period might be late, there are a number of different reasons why you might be getting contradictory pregnancy test results. It’s possible to get a false negative if you take a pregnancy test too early. It’s also possible to get false results if you don’t follow the instructions perfectly.

A health care provider can tell you whether or not you’re pregnant. You can contact your local Planned Parenthood health center to schedule an appointment, and to ask them about cost and payment. Planned Parenthood works to make health care accessible and affordable, and some health centers are able to charge according to income. But only your local Planned Parenthood health center can give you specific information on costs.

Please get medical advice as soon as possible.
