I have anemia. Can I still get an abortion?

i want an abortion but have anemia. what are my risks?

Abortion is very safe, even for people with health conditions like anemia. In general, having anemia doesn’t mean you can’t have an abortion. However your doctor or nurse may have special instructions for you, or ask you to take extra precautions.

Let the staff at the health center you go to know about your anemia, and answer their questions about your health history so they can make sure you stay healthy during and after your abortion.
