Does every single person on the planet who has sex before marriage end up with an STD?

No. But anyone who has sex with another person is at risk of getting a sexually transmitted infection. It doesn’t matter whether you’re married or not. Right now, about one out of four young people become infected every year.

This is why it is very important to use a condom every time you have intercourse. It really reduces the risk a lot. For example, a person using a condom is about 10,000 times less likely to get HIV/AIDS than a person who doesn’t. That’s a lot of risk reduction.
