I am on birth control and my “friend” used a expired condom when we had intercourse. Well, my period was late, could I be pregnant?
It’s possible. The only way to know for sure if you’re pregnant is to take a pregnancy test.
It’s not a good idea to use an expired condom because expired condoms are more likely to break, which can result in pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. But it’s better to use an expired condom than to use none.
Although it won’t prevent infection, pulling out before ejaculation is also a good way to protect against pregnancy when no other birth control is being used.
