Diaphragms (used with spermicide) fit inside your vagina to cover your cervix during sex to prevent pregnancy. Diaphragms are shallow, bendable, and bowl-shaped. They’re made of soft silicone so you can bend it in half and put it inside your vagina. Depending on which brand you get, diaphragms sometimes come in different sizes, so you may need to be fitted for one by your nurse or doctor.
