After using the ring continuously for six months, I still spot while it's in. Is this normal?

Is it normal or healthy to be bleeding while having the nuvaring in? I have been on the ring for six months I leave it in and imediatly repleace it after 3 weeks for no period but after this long I still spot or bleed while it is in, is this ok?

If you use the ring continuously, it’s normal to have spotting or bleeding for the first six months. It may go away over time. You may continue spotting or you may eventually stop bleeding altogether — either is normal and healthy for your body.
