The Access Plan is your source for free, confidential and convenient family planning services. You can enroll and receive health care services at no cost to you at any Planned Parenthood health center location in Vermont and select health centers in New Hampshire. Services include: birth control (such as the Pill, the patch or an IUD), annual exams, STI testing and treatment, and patient education and counseling. Most, but not all, of the services provided at Planned Parenthood are covered by Access Plan. Planned Parenthood staff can help you determine whether you will need to pay for any of the services you receive at the time of your visit. Men and women are eligible if: you are a Vermont resident, you meet income requirements (less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level), you are not pregnant, and you are not enrolled in private health insurance, VHAP or Medicaid. If you qualify for Access Plan you may also qualify for other programs offered by the Vermont Department of Health. Visit healthvermont.gov for more information.

Insurance Information

Please see the provided list of insurance plans to find out which ones include Planned Parenthood as an in-network provider.

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STI screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. You should contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you are interested in are covered, and what, if any, out-of-pocket costs you are required to pay.

Please be sure to bring your insurance card to your visit.

If you do not have health insurance, visit PlannedParenthoodHealthInsuranceFacts.org to find out how to get more affordable coverage and what to consider when choosing a plan.
