Insurance & Payments

Everyone deserves affordable health care. If you're concerned about cost, you may qualify for low- or no-cost services. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for health care.

I don’t have insurance or Medicaid

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, ask us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Information

Most of our services are now available for free or reduced-cost, on a sliding-fee scale based on income and family-size. These services include annual wellness exams, pregnancy testing, screenings for cervical and breast cancer, STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming care, and a wide range of birth control methods and supplies, among others. You have the right to a cost estimate. If you do not, have healthcare insurance or you will not be using your insurance for your care at Planned Parenthood, by law you have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the care you are seeking if you schedule your appointment at least three business days in advance. At your request, PPTNM will send you an estimate of the expected charges by mail or email at least one day before your visit. If you are scheduling an appointment online, if you do not provide us with a way to communicate your good faith estimate, we will make it available for you to pick up in person 1-3 business days after scheduling. If you prefer to receive your GFE by email, please contact us at 866-711-1717. Please note that the actual cost of services will differ from the estimated cost if you qualify for discounts, if you have a change in insurance status, or if your services change once you are at the health center. If you are not ready to book an appointment yet you can call our Call Center at 866-711-1717 to request a good faith estimate of charges for the services you are seeking and costs related to those services. If your scheduled appointment does not allow three days to provide the good faith estimate, PPTNM will provide a verbal estimate of charges, but you will not receive a written estimate prior to your appointment. For more information about your rights under the law, visit CMS.gov/nosurprises Our fees are based on your household income. Please bring either a pay stub or unemployment documentation if you have it. We’ll never turn you away from the care you need because of your inability to pay.
