Walk-in Information

For walk-ins, please arrive at least one hour prior to closing for the following services:

Pregnancy tests
Emergency Contraception
STI testing (Only available as walk-in if you are not showing symptoms. If you are showing symptoms, please make an a appointment.)

If you need emergency contraception (morning after pill), you can walk in any time the health center is open.

Advance day and same day appointments are available. Phones are answered during these hours:

Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Notes

This location is open on the first and third Saturday of each month. Saturday hours are variable and based on Nurse Practitioner availability.
For your convenience, the North Columbus Health Center is open the second and fourth Saturday of each month.

Appointment Information

Birth control refill pick ups are available: during normal business hours. Please arrive at least one hour prior to closing.

We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed into the exam room. We request that you please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

Other Health Center Information

If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

Specialty Services

Pills by Mail is available at this health center — a service that delivers birth control pills to your home each month. Patients with a current prescription for some of the birth control pills that we offer at our health center can order Pills by Mail.

Payment Information

If you are uninsured, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale.

Please bring the following documents:

  • pay stub
  • FAFSA for college students ODJFS unemployment documentation

Fees for services are based on your household income.

Please bring proof of income when you arrive for your visit.

  • Major Credit/Debit Cards

Payment is expected at time of service.

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that is not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.
