Walk-ins
By walk-in as schedule allowsWhen you call for an appointment to begin or continue hormone therapy, one of our front desk staff members will help you schedule your appointment and talk with you about what to expect.
At your first appointment, our provider will take time to:
- Review your medical history
- Discuss your goals and expectations
- Confirm your understanding of the potential risks and side effects
- Answer any questions you have
- Connect you to available community resources
Clients under our care receive a written prescription for hormones which they fill at a pharmacy. Planned Parenthood does not provide pharmacy services for these hormones.

Insurance information
Some services may be covered by your insurance. If you want to use your insurance, please be sure to have your insurance information at the time of your visit.
Medicaid does not cover abortion services unless the life of the mother is in danger or cases of rape or incest. With the exception of Medicaid for Pregnant Women and Medicaid when Medicare or Aetna is primary, Medicaid is accepted.
If you are uninsured, you may be eligible to receive financial assistance for your procedure. You can confidentially find out if you qualify by calling us at (866) 942-7762.
If you are eligible for financial assistance you may be asked to bring documentation with you to the health center.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged a no-show fee of $35.
