-On Fridays, our Hempstead health center hosts an open Teen Clinic from 4 - 6 PM.
-Our Hempstead site is closed the third Wednesday of each month from 9 - 11 AM.

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Information

You can always come to us for care. We have affordable payment options at most health centers, but at: Prevention Park Family Planning, Center for Choice, Spring, Southwest, Stafford, Northwest, Northville, New Orleans and Baton Rouge payment is due up front. Our fees are based on your household income. Please bring either a pay stub or unemployment documentation if you have it. We’ll never turn you away from the care you need because of your inability to pay.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

Ask about the Family Planning Benefit Program for free birth control.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. almost every day beginning at 9am and ending one half hour before closing. Please call us the day before you plan on picking up your birth control, so we can have it ready for you when you arrive. Emergency Contraception (Plan B, also known as the morning after pill) can be picked up beginning at 9am until one half hour before closing.

Specially trained staff are available for people with developmental disabilities.

Specially trained staff and medical equipment are available for people with physical disabilities.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed in the exam room. Please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.

Our teen clinic is open at the following times. during normal business hours.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.
