If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Please call 24 hours in advance to make a next day appointment. Walk-in services maybe limited when scheduled appointments are in progress.

Everyone deserves affordable health care. With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care.

I don’t have insurance or Medicaid

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Information

You can always come to us for care. We have affordable payment options at most health centers, but at: Prevention Park Family Planning, Center for Choice, Spring, Southwest, Stafford, Northwest, Northville, New Orleans and Baton Rouge payment is due up front. Our fees are based on your household income. Please bring either a pay stub or unemployment documentation if you have it.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

Payment plans are available for many services. Our helpful staff can answer questions you may have about coverage.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed in the exam room. Please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Children under the age of 1 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.
