Appointment Policies and Information
From Hartford:
Take Route 2 to Route 11 which ends in Salem. Take a left off the Exit ramp. At next intersection turn right onto Route 85 South. This eventually becomes Broad Street in New London. Turn right at the traffic light onto Hempstead Street. Take the first left onto Franklin Street. The health center is on the left.
From the South:
Take I-95 to Exit 83. At the first light turn right onto Williams Street and then at the next light turn left on Broad Street. Follow Broad Street to Hempstead Street where you will turn right, and then take your first left onto Franklin Street. The health center is on the left.
From the North (Taking I-395 South):
Take I-395 South to Exit 78 (left Exit) for route 32 to New London. Continue on Route 32 through the Gales Ferry/Waterford area into New London. You will pass Connecticut College on the right and the Coast Guard Academy on the left. Continue straight, and take a right onto Gov. Winthrop Blvd. (New London Police Station on the left). Go through 2 sets of lights, and just past the courthouse take a quick left onto Cottage Street. At the stop sign turn right and the health center is on the right.

Childcare Policies
We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

Services Offered
You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. during business hours
You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.
Specialty Services
You may be able to get your birth control pills mailed to you. Ask the health center staff for more information.
Pills by Mail is available at this health center — a service that delivers birth control pills to your home each month. Ask the health center staff for more information.
