Women's Health Care in Tempe, AZ

Tempe Regional Health Center offers the following women's health services:

  • checkups when you have a reproductive/sexual health problem
  • bacterial vaginosis (BV)
  • breast exams
  • cervical cancer screening
  • mammogram referrals
  • Pap test
  • routine physicals for women age 12 and older
  • urinary tract infection (UTI) testing and treatment
  • vaginal infection testing and treatment

Here’s what you need to know in preparation for a women's health visit at this health center:

For the testing and treatment of urinary tract infections, we will need to collect a urine sample at the time of your visit.

For the testing and treatment of vaginal infections, a pelvic exam may be required.

Cervical cancer screening requires a pelvic exam and Pap test.

    Walk-in Information

    If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

    You are welcome to walk in any time the Health Center is open to make an appointment or see if there is a same day appointment available. If you have the time to wait, we will make every effort to fit you in the same day. If we can’t see you, we will give you the first priority appointment available.

    Walk-in appointments are available for emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, birth control pill refills, and individuals seeking immediate treatment as a result of sexual assault. Subject to availability.
