If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, ask us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

However, the visit fee is your responsibility if no alternative funding is available. We’ll never turn you away from the care you need because of your inability to pay.

We accept many private and public insurance plans. If you don't see your insurance listed, please call us at 602-277-7526.

Services Coverage

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and STI/HIV screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to make sure that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you might have.

Additional Payment Information

Payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept:

  • Major Credit/Debit Cards
  • Cashier's checks

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that is not your own, prior arrangements must be made. For more information, please call 800-230-PLAN.

Appointment Policies and Information

Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Central Phoenix Health Center is located south of Camelback Road, on the corner of 15th Street and Pierson Street at 4751 N. 15th Street.

Childcare Policies

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

Accessibility Options

We offer services to meet the unique communication needs of patients who may be deaf or hard of hearing. If you or your family member needs these services, let our staff know as soon as you book an appointment. We’re here to help you communicate your health care needs.

Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

You are welcome to walk in any time the Health Center is open to make an appointment or see if there is a same day appointment available. If you have the time to wait, we will make every effort to fit you in the same day. If we can’t see you, we will give you the first priority appointment available.

Walk-in appointments are available for emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, birth control pill refills, post-HIV exposure prophylaxis (PEP), and individuals seeking immediate treatment as a result of sexual assault. Subject to availability.
