Walk-in Information

If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Emergency Contraception, Pregnancy Testing, Birth Control Pill Refills.

Birth control pill refill pickups are available during open business hours At this health center you can come in for appointments that do not require a medical exam. We do not provide childcare services. We request that you please make childcare arrangements.

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

If you plan to pay for your visit with a credit card that’s not your own, you must bring a letter from the cardholder with you.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to check in and complete paperwork.

We advise patients to secure childcare as children are not allowed to be unattended in the waiting room or in the back for patient visits.

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. Birth control pill refills are available during regular health center hours.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing/treatment for urinary tract infections.

Glendale Health Center is located south of Thunderbird Road, on the corner of 57th Drive and Eugie Avenue at 5771 W. Eugie Avenue.
