Testimonials

  • “Teen Council’s 'Know Before You Go' changed the way I view consent and my own rights in under 90 minutes. I was so much more empowered and felt I had a greater right to say, 'no' or 'yes'.”
  • “The Know Before You Go lesson was an informative, interactive, and valuable experience. The lesson was engaging and Teen Council did a fantastic job of facilitating group conversations and keeping everyone engaged and attentive for the duration of the lesson. The interactive aspect of the lesson, particularly the scenarios, made a clear point about how consent is multifaceted and how it’s not always easy to read the situation. It was also very interesting and instructive to have the different aspects of the definition of consent discussed.”
