If you need emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill), you can walk in anytime we’re open.

Walk-in appointments are available for emergency contraception and pregnancy tests. All other services as this health center may be available on a walk-in basis based on appointment availability.

Exceptions to normal hours of operation:

•Monday, 2/5: closing early at 3p
•Tuesday, 2/13: From 10am-12:30pm, we are only open for Pregnancy Testing, Over the Counter Emergency Contraception & to schedule appts (regular services resume 12:30-7:30)
•Monday, 2/19: CLOSED

**In the case of bad weather, please call prior to your appointment for information about closings.**

We welcome walk-in patients based on availability. We suggest you call ahead. You may find it more convenient to schedule an appointment.

The last appointment of the day is scheduled 1 hour prior to closing.

We offer referrals for treatment of HIV and healthcare needs beyond the scope of our family planning services.

Affordable Care & Accepted Insurance

With or without insurance, you can always come to us for your health care. Most birth control, annual wellness exams, HIV, and STD screenings are covered for free, with no copay. Everyone deserves affordable health care.

If you don't have insurance, you may qualify for a state-funded program or a lower fee scale. If you’re worried about cost, talk to us about how you can get health care that fits your budget.

Payment Options

Most health insurance plans now cover prescription birth control, annual wellness exams, and HIV and STD screenings with no copay, and many other services with some copay required. Contact your health insurance company directly to confirm that the services you need are covered and what, if any, out of pocket costs you are required to pay.

More Appointment Information

We’re unable to provide childcare at our health center. For safety reasons children need to be accompanied by an adult when they’re in the waiting room. Only infants can accompany you to the exam room. Please bring a friend or family member to be with your children if you don’t have childcare at home.

You can fill your birth control prescriptions at our health center instead of the pharmacy. any time we are open.

Planned Parenthood is proud to offer same day prescription refills. If you have an existing prescription with us, you can call to request to refill your birth control before noon, and your prescription will be available for pick up after 2pm on the SAME DAY. Please call ahead to verify pick-up hours.

Please note that if you are using health insurance to cover the cost of your prescription, there may be restrictions on how many refills you can receive at one time.

Only infants and toddlers in a car seat or stroller are allowed in the exam room. Please make arrangements for childcare for any other children.

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the waiting area unsupervised.

You can come to us for services that don’t require a medical exam. For example, birth control education and supplies; emergency contraception (AKA the morning after pill); pregnancy testing and counseling; STD testing, and testing and treatments for urinary tract infections.

How to Find Us
On Main Street, you will see Café Destare on your left and just ahead is our health center on your right. Look for the large green awning.

Parking is available directly across the street from the health center. Parking is free for up to two hours.
