When would you use a internal condom?
Anytime you’d use a condom! Female condoms are also called internal condoms, because they can be used for both vaginal and anal sex — by men or women. Internal condoms are inserted before sex to protect against both pregnancy and STDs. They work the same way as a male condom: by collecting pre-cum and semen when a guy ejaculates, and minimizing genital skin-to-skin contact. By providing a barrier between egg and sperm as well as between partners’ genital skin, internal condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy (during vaginal sex) and sexually transmitted infections (during vaginal or anal sex).
