Abortion funds help patients pay for their care if they have to travel to other states to get an abortion and may provide other resources, like transportation, lodging, and child care. They’re an essential resource for people who would not otherwise be able to afford or access an abortion.

Share resources for people who may need an abortion

Even though nearly 1 in 4 women in the U.S. will have an abortion by the time they’re 45 years old, many people don’t talk about it. But silence and stigma are weapons that lawmakers use to take away our rights. So we need to tell our own stories about why abortion access is important.
