Franklin Rosado is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. In this role, Mr. Rosado works with the PPFA senior leadership team to provide technical expertise and ensure effective technology operations. Mr. Rosado has negotiated external partnerships with the tech industry focused on enterprise systems. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences about Planned Parenthood's technology transformations.
Prior to becoming CTO, Mr. Rosado was the Director of Technology Strategy and Architecture at PPFA. In this role, he was responsible for the design and prioritization of PPFA’s technology operations. He helped lead the organization's efforts to harness the influence of new technologies.
Mr. Rosado is passionately committed to social justice and service to the underserved. Prior to joining PPFA, Mr. Rosado was the CTO of Uncommon Schools for 8 years. Prior to joining Uncommon Schools, Mr. Rosado worked at NPower NY. Prior to that Mr. Rosado worked at Marsh & Mclennan, and before that at the Henry Street Settlement.
Mr. Rosado has a B.A. in History and Political Science from Williams College and has a M.S. in Information Systems from Baruch College.
