The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) Maggie Awards, named after Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, recognize exceptional achievement by the media and arts and entertainment industries in support of reproductive rights and health care issues, including contraception, sexuality education, teen pregnancy, abortion, and international family planning.

Entries in the categories of television, radio, newspaper, music, magazine, book, new media, theater, film and video, and advertising should be submitted prior to the January 31, 2006 deadline. Preference will be given to entries that were published or broadcast during 2005.
