Local Education and Training



Planned Parenthood will ensure that sexuality is understood as an essential lifelong aspect of being human, and that it is celebrated with respect, openness, and mutuality.
 
The PPWW Education and Training Department provides education on all sexual health topics in a wide variety of community settings. We are guided by the PPWW Mission goal:  "Provide educational services to foster understanding of human sexuality and promote responsible behavior." We believe that providing accurate information about sexual development, healthy relationships, methods of birth control, and the importance of understanding how to access reproductive health care supports responsible decision-making around sexuality.
 
Our programs empower parents, teachers and professionals to increase knowledge and communication about sex and sexuality and engage youth in learning how to make smart choices about sex and relationships. Our programs include the most current and medically accurate information and employ interactive teaching strategies.
