REAL Sex Ed Saves Lives Campaign
Chances are, if you are out and about during the summer in Richmond, you have seen a Planned Parenthood table at many different events. Have you ever thought "I wonder what they are doing and how I can help?" Well, now is your chance!
Throughout the summer, volunteers go out into the Richmond community to help educate folks about our issues, gather postcard signatures, and be a visibile presence in the community.This year, Planned Parenthood has focused its efforts on comprehensive sexuality education with a campaign called REAL Sex Ed Saves Lives.
Goals of the campaign include:
- Identify 2,500 new pro-choice supporters in Richmond and surrounding areas
- Identify 100 parents in support of age-appropriate, medically accurate sex education
- Identify 50 educators in support of quality, comprehensive sex education
