Human Resources Coordinator

Planned Parenthood Association of Utah is looking for a dynamic, highly organized and motivated self starter to serve as the Agency's HR Coordinator.  This role is responsible for coordinating, supporting, and administering a broad spectrum of human resources duties including: staffing, conducting new employee orientation, and ensuring a diverse work force. Duties also include working with management to communicate personnel policies and procedures, guaranteeing that agency policies and programs conform to all state and federal employment laws.

Other duties include:

  • Administers payroll and all benefit and disability programs, including managing FMLA, conducting salary surveys and review of job descriptions.
  • Manages yearly open enrollment period for insurances. Arranges for distribution of materials from carriers, communicates changes to employees and arranges for on-site representation by providers and designees.
  • Maintains personnel files in accordance with federal and state law assuring all information is complete and audited on a regular basis.
  • Manages and assists in the employee hiring process including administration of recruitment, assisting as requested with selection and assisting supervisors in the hiring process as needed.
  • Manages the employee termination process including exit interviews and completion and monitoring of unemployment claims.
  • Administers the employee continuing education and training program including tracking, recordkeeping and monitoring.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Compile and maintain appropriate statistical data/information and provide as required to EEOC, OSHA, DOL, PPFA, management team, etc.Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 0-2 years experience, or 2 years college and 5 years experience
  • PHR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong computer proficiency

Clinical Assistants

We are looking for dynamic individuals who would be excellent representatives of our organization and our mission and are committed to providing high quality care for our patients. We have openings for full-time or part-time Clinical Assistants at clinics in Salt Lake City, Ogden and Logan.

Job duties include:

  • Provide accurate information to all clients about all FDA approved birth control methods as well as adoption, prenatal and abortion services in accordance with PPAU policy and medical guidelines
  • Provide specific instruction on the client¿s selected birth control method
  • Performs routine office duties, including, but not limited to, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, providing referrals and collecting payments
  • Maintains client electronic record systems and lab results and ensures accurate input of information into the computer system
  • Assists medical provider in the examination and procedure-surgical rooms
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting or other experience with extensive customer service contact in a medical or health field, gender studies, social work, family planning, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Commitment to quality, confidential reproductive healthcare and excellent customer service
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable
  • Ability to work alternating evening/closing shifts will be given preference
  • Must be able to pass background check
