The Marketplace will open again on November 15, 2014 and run through February 15, 2015! Planned Parenthood is dedicated to helping Utahns understand their options and what the Affordable Care Act, sometimes referred as Obamacare, means for them. Check back for more enrollment information in the fall.
Whether you have health insurance or not, you can always come to us for the care you need, when you need it. Planned Parenthood Association of Utah accepts all insurance and also provides affordable health care to those without health insurance.
If you started enrollment but didn’t finish, you may still have extra time to enroll. If you began enrollment on HealthCare.Gov before midnight March 31, but got an error message or couldn’t finish —you can still get coverage. Or, if you have a qualifying life event you may be able to enroll before the next enrollment period. Click here for more info.
For those who qualify, enrollment in low-cost or free health insurance through Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) is open all year round. To find out if you are eligible for low-cost or free health insurance, go to the Utah Department of Health Medicaid website.
November 2014 will come sooner that you think! If you didn’t get enrolled this time around, and find out you are not eligible for Medicaid, you can enroll in coverage in just a few months and have coverage starting January 2015. Take the time now to figure out what’s most important to you in a health insurance plan —and what kind of financial help you may be eligible for.
Check back in November for more enrollment information!
