• December 1: World AIDS Day, events TBA. Every year UHPP educators take part in marking this occasion and raising awareness around HIV/AIDS. • December 2: Join us for a National Lobby Day in Washington. The House of Representatives has just passed a health care reform bill containing dangerous and far-reaching restrictions on access to abortion. Under the Stupak Amendment, even women and families that pay for insurance with their own dollars will not be able to buy affordable coverage that covers the full range of reproductive health care. • January 11, 2010: Statewide Day of Advocacy: Join hundreds of reproductive rights and family planning advocates as we meet with state Senators and Assembly members to outline our legislative priorities for 2010.
