There are thousands of teens in the United States who are living with HIV/AIDS. Experts recommend that sexually active teens get tested for HIV starting at age 13. There is no cure, but treatments can help people with HIV/AIDS live for many years. Condoms offer very good protection against HIV, which is most often spread through unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.
