Q & A
We get a lot of questions, so its possible weve already answered one a lot like yours.
Q:
Does the guy who got me pregnant have to know if I give the baby up for adoption?
A: When possible, it is a good idea to include the birth father in the adoption process. But whether or not you need his consent for the adoption depends on where you live. Since the laws about birth fathers are different from state to state, you should talk with an adoption counselor or lawyer about what rights a birth father has in your state.
