Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region has teamed up with Caracole house to better serve the HIV positive community, men who have sex with men, injection drug users, and the general community. We have moved our HIV prevention project to Northside at 4138 Hamilton Ave, this new location will provide easier access to services we provide for the entire community.
Our Northside location offers a variety of services including:
· FREE rapid (results in 20 minutes) anonymous or confidential HIV testing
· FREE rapid (results in 15 minutes) anonymous or confidential Hepatitis C (HCV) testing
· One-on-one counseling services to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS
· Support services to those living with or affected by HIV/AIDS
· Harm reduction services to the injection drug use population
· Prevention and educational services to community groups
o Local correctional facilities
o Local drug/alcohol treatment centers
o Community base groups and organization
You need an HIV test if you...
o Have had unprotected vaginal or anal sex.
o Have had a sexually transmitted disease.
o Have ever been an intravenous drug user.
o Have been the sexual partner of someone who has used drugs intravenously.
You need a Hepatitis C (HCV) test if you…
o Have ever been an intravenous drug user.
