For 82 years, Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio Region (PPSWO) provides convenient access to reproductive health care, prenatal services, comprehensive sex education, contraception, information and counseling, and we are proud to be located primarily in neighborhoods where barriers to accessing health care tend to exist. As a safety net provider, PPSWO helps tens of thousands of women and men in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky gain access to routine and preventive reproductive health care services they would otherwise be unable to secure. We offer them access to affordable, confidential and quality health care without regard to race, religion, sexual orientation or citizenship.
Planned Parenthood Southwest Ohio provides affordable services for the uninsured – but also for those who have insurance. If you have health insurance, you can receive the same high-quality care at PPSWO as you would at any private physician’s office. There’s only one difference – if you use your insurance at PPSWO, your health care dollars help us provide services to someone who isn’t insured, who can’t afford care. Use your insurance dollars for good, and help us help others.
In partnership with more than 20,000 activists, supporters and donors in the Southwest Ohio Region, Planned Parenthood promotes effective education and prevention policies, protects a woman’s right to choose and challenges government interference in the most personal decisions of women, men and their families.
The balance provided by our three-pronged approach of providing health care, education and advocacy ensures quality and consistency of care, delivery of responsible, factual information and support for women and men to make reproductive choices free of coercion.
Above all, PPSWO advocates trusting individuals and providing them with the information they need to make well informed decisions about sexuality, family planning and childbearing. We believe women and men have the right to choose and that children flourish best in families and communities where they are nurtured, honored and loved.
