What is PREP?
PREP (Personal Responsibility Education Program) is a project funded by the Ohio Department of Health and the Office of Adolescent Health under Health and Human Services. With this project we provide training and support to the staff who work with youth in Ohio’s juvenile justice and foster care systems to help these youth become better prepared to transition to adulthood.
Our highly trained health educators teach the staff in these agencies how to use the modified Reducing the Risk curriculum effectively with the youth, ages 14-19, in their care. The topics include: healthy relationships, pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection prevention, financial literacy, and workforce development.
PREP Service Regions
