ADVOCATES, the political arm of Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri, is a separate, not-for-profit organization.
Established in 1996, ADVOCATES engages in education, lobbying and bi-partisan electoral work such as:
- lobbying elected officials in Jefferson City and in-district,
- candidate recruitment and message training,
- get-out-the vote activities, and
- voter education.
