We offer a special counseling program for patients who need services after prenatal diagnostic testing reveals a fetal abnormality. When severe developmental/genetic defects exist in a pregnancy, we know individuals have very special needs. The Fetal and Maternal Indications Program is designed to provide a woman and her family with the privacy, compassion and attention necessary during this difficult time.
Each patient receives an individual clinical assessment. The type of procedure indicated will depend on the following factors:
- Length of pregnancy
- Maternal health
- Fetal diagnosis
