HPV Vaccine

The HPV vaccine protects against two types of HPV that cause 90 percent of all genital warts and two types of HPV that cause 70 percent of all cervical cancer.  It is given in three separate injections over the course of six months.

Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region is part of a program through the Missouri Foundation for Health that provides free HPV vaccines for eligible females between 9 and 26 years of age.  Contact your local health center for more information on eligibility.
