Emergency Contraception (EC)

Emergency contraception is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. It can be started up to five days (120 hours) after unprotected intercourse. Emergency contraception is also known as emergency birth control, backup birth control, the morning after pill, and by the brand name Plan B. The most commonly used kind of emergency contraception is Plan B.

Emergency contraception is available at all of our health center locations on a walk-in basis, without an exam. No appointment is necessary!

If you are 18 years of age and older, bring your government issued identification (i.e. Driver's license, State ID, passport) to one of our health centers and you can get EC over-the-counter for $30.

If you are 17 years of age and younger, bring photo identification to one of our health centers and you can get your EC prescription TODAY.
